  • The Giver
  • The Free Spirit
  • The Visionary
  • The Achiever
  • The Optimist

Sound familiar?

You're good at what you do, and money still feels harder than it should.

Say you run a business you're proud of. Clients like working with you, and most months the money comes in. But on Sunday evening you open your banking app, close it again, and tell yourself you'll look properly next week. You've downloaded the budgeting templates and promised yourself you'd raise your prices. You've tried to be "better with money" more than once, and every time it slips back to the way it was.

  • You're not sure what you actually paid yourself last month.
  • A slow month makes you anxious, even when the year has been good.
  • You know what you should do with money, and you still don't do it.

That isn't a discipline problem, and it doesn't mean you're bad with money.

Most money advice hands everyone the same plan, and if it wasn't built for the way you handle money, it won't stick. A budget that feels safe to a woman who loves security can feel like a cage to a woman who loves freedom, so the same plan can work well for one and fall apart for the other. If a plan hasn't stuck for you, that doesn't mean you failed, because it may have been built for someone else.

Why I made this

I've spent my whole career on the money side of business, and the numbers were never the hard part.

I'm Simone, a business and finance expert, and I lead the Women's Money Society. I grew up without much money, which is what led me into business and finance in the first place. For years I worked as a CFO for business owners, and many of them called me when they were earning well and still running out of cash.

What I learned is that before we could fix the numbers, we had to understand how each owner related to money, because those beliefs had been setting her prices and her limits long before any math did. My clients didn't need more information, because what they needed was a plan that worked with who they already were.

That's why I built this quiz. It's the first conversation I'd have with you if we sat down for coffee.

What I believe

Your inner strategy is just as important as your outer strategy.

Knowing your money type gives you the power to lean into your strengths and build simple systems around the areas that don't come naturally. You don't have to become a different person to feel calm about money. You need to know which parts of money you'll handle well on your own, and which parts deserve a system, so they get done without relying on willpower.

Lean into your strengths

If you're careful with money, you can use that care to invest on purpose. If you're generous, you can build that generosity into your pricing, so you're paid for it.

Build systems for the rest

If checking your numbers isn't your thing, a monthly reminder and a one-page snapshot will do it for you. If saving feels like a cage, an automatic transfer will save for you before you notice.

How it works

Three simple steps take you from guessing to knowing your money type.

  1. Answer 10 quick questions

They're about everyday moments, like what you do after a good month or what happens right before you say your price. There's nothing to calculate.

  2. See your money type straight away

You'll learn your main type, your second type, your biggest strength and the area where a system will help you most.

  3. Take your first step this week

Every result comes with one small action that fits your type, so you can start right away.

Your free result

You'll leave knowing your money type, your strengths and the one step that fits you.

  • Your money type and your second type, because you may be a mix, and seeing both makes your result feel true to you.
  • Your biggest money strength, named plainly, so you know what to lean on.
  • Where you're already strong, because the quiz also notices the smart money moves you're already making.
  • The system that will help you most, so you stop blaming yourself for the parts that were never your strength.
  • Your wealth area to focus on, whether that's your money, your joy, your mindset, your relationships, your time or your health, so you know where to put your care first.
  • Your loudest money belief, the quiet thought that's been shaping your prices and your limits.
  • One step for this week, written for your type.
  • Your path to abundance, so you can see what more looks like for your money type.

Which one are you?

Every money type has a strength, and none of them is wrong.

The Safekeeper

She's careful, steady and trustworthy with money.

The Giver

She's generous, and her clients love her for it.

The Free Spirit

She knows how to enjoy her money and her life.

The Visionary

She's full of ideas and starts things others only talk about.

The Achiever

She's driven, and she earns well.

The Optimist

She trusts that things will work out, and she doesn't let fear stop her.

The Empowerer

Every type can grow into a woman who knows her worth, asks for it, sets clear boundaries and has a plan for her money.

Knowing your money type will help you stop fighting yourself and start building wealth your way.

When you know your type

You'll be able to choose systems that suit you, so money gets handled even in a busy month. You'll understand why some money tasks feel easy and others feel heavy, and you'll set prices and make decisions with more confidence, because you'll know which habits to trust and which to support.

When you don't know your money type

The same patterns keep costing you. The discount you didn't need to give, the invoice that sat unpaid and the savings that never quite started all add up, month after month. The stress stays with you too, because you keep trying plans that weren't built for you and blaming yourself when they don't stick.

Questions

Questions about the Money Type quiz

What is a money type?

A money type is the pattern you naturally fall into with money, like how you feel about spending, saving, pricing and checking your numbers. The Money Type quiz from the Women's Money Society sorts those patterns into six money types, each with its own strengths and its own blind spots, so you know what to lean on and where a simple system will help you most.

What are the six money types?

The six money types in the Money Type quiz are the Safekeeper, who is careful and steady with money; the Giver, who is generous with clients; the Free Spirit, who knows how to enjoy her money; the Visionary, who is full of ideas; the Achiever, who is driven and earns well; and the Optimist, who trusts that things will work out. Every type can grow into the Empowerer, a woman who knows her worth, asks for it and has a plan for her money.

Is the Money Type quiz really free?

Yes. The Money Type quiz is free, and so are your result and your first step. You'll enter your first name and email to see your result.

Can my money type change?

Yes. Your money type shows your patterns today, and patterns can change as your life and your business change. You can take the quiz again in a few months to see what's moved.
